Danielle Sheehy has been working with children diagnosed with autism since 1997. She received her Bachelor’s from the University of South Florida and a double Master’s degree in School-Community Psychology from the College of New Rochelle. Danielle obtained a Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2007. She started her career in the New York City school system before relocating to Los Angeles. Danielle co-owns Behavioral Learning Center, which provides ABA services in Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and San Fernando Valley. She has made it her life’s work helping others achieve their developmental goals.

Jody Stiegemeyer
Jody Stiegemeyer

Jody Stiegemeyer has been working in the field of ABA and with individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities for over 20 years. To put herself through her undergraduate degree, she worked as an ABA therapist. Jody attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada to pursue her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She moved to California in 1999 and worked in the public school system as well as in private practice as a speech pathologist and as a behavior therapist. Jody became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2009. Her intense passion for helping individuals with special needs and their families was what motivated her to open her own agency in 2007.

Victor Chata

Victor Chata has over 20 plus years of experience in the HR profession. Victor earned his BA in Organizational Management from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita CA. After an 18-year career at UCLA, he retired as an HR manager and entered the private sector as an HR manager/consultant for Barrett Business Services, Inc. He earned his Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification in June of 2013 and earned his Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification in February 2015. Victor joined Behavioral Learning Center, Inc. in October of 2014 and oversees all aspects of BLC’s human resources.

Paola has been working with BLC since June 2008. She has been working with children in both the home and school setting since 2004. She is currently overseeing the San Fernando Valley region as Associate Clinical Director. Paola received her Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in ABA, from California State University Los Angeles in 2012 and received her BCBA in January 2013.

Shanna Munoz

Shanna began her career in the field of applied behavior analysis with BLC in 2008. She possess a Master’s degree in Teaching with a Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Shanna currently oversees the insurance department assisting families with accessing applied behavior analysis services through their insurance.

Diana Sanchez

Diana began her career working in the field of applied behavior analysis in 2005. She has worked with children, and caregiver’s in the home and in the community. Additionally, she worked providing early intervention services to infants from 0-3 years of age for 2 years. Diana earned her Master’s degree in Psychology in 2011, and then earned her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in August 2014. She currently serves as a bilingual Senior Program Manager in the Antelope Valley.

Nina earned her BA in psychology from CSUN in 2017. She  has prior experience as a Behavior Technician working directly with clients in their homes. In 2018, Nina became a recruiting specialist and was responsible for recruiting Behavioral Technicians for 29 different locations across the country. In 2020, Nina joined Behavioral Learning Center, Inc. as the Hiring and Recruiting Manager where she now supervises Recruiting Specialists and recruits for various positions within the agency.

Cal has spent the last 10 years specializing in the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis, across children, adults, and parents. He has worked in both homes and the school setting with children and families, and consulted with supported living staff for adults across a broad range of disabilities. In 2011, Cal received his Masters Degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, and in 2012, became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Gus began his career in applied behavior analysis working with individuals with special needs in 2010 after receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Gus spent time working with clients in a school setting before joining BLC in 2013 after receiving his Master’s degree in teaching with a specialization in applied behavior analysis. In 2015 Gus earned his certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and he currently serves consumers in the San Fernando Valley region.

Mariya has been working with Behavioral Learning Center, Inc. (BLC) since September, 2009. She earned her Master’s degree in Teaching with a Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has worked with children and young adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities in the home, community and school settings. She currently facilities the BCBA Supervision Internship in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Brigitte has been working with children with developmental disabilities since 2010 and she started working with Behavioral Learning Center, Inc. in January 2012. Brigitte has served children, adults, and families in the home, community, and school settings. She received her Master’s degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2013 and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Ran joined BLC as a program supervisor in January 2017. She has been working with people with mental disabilities in the different settings since 2013. In 2015, Ran earned a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in ABA at Saint Louis University, and her BCBA certification in 2016. Currently, she serves the Antelope Valley region as a Senior Program Manager.

Sheelah Peterson worked for BLC in 2009-2012 as a BT. Through this experience she became highly motivated to help those without a voice or mode of communication, and pursued an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences followed by a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology at CSUN. Sheelah returned to BLC in 2019, and is a SLP supervisor for the Infant Developmental Program. She has over 8 years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and other special needs. Sheelah has specific training and experience with the treatment and evaluation of augmentative and alternative communication, fluency, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders.

After graduating from California State University, Fullerton with honors in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Krista Novelli began her career in speech therapy in 2016. To put herself through her graduate program, Krista attended Loma Linda University and became a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. She started with BLC during her graduate externship, and later joined the team as an SLPA. Krista received her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from New York University Steinhardt and now works as an SLP-CF. She has vast experience working with those with special needs, including volunteering for the Special Olympics and coaching those with disabilities.
